Carbon Core

All harp models can be built around a light-weight carbon fibre core. Reducing the harp's weight by around 1.8Kg.

Combined with the use of other light-weight components such as the titanium tuning pegs, a significant weight saving can be acheived. For example, a Norris Standard 34 harp built with a conventional wooden frame will weigh around 10Kg but the same harp with a carbon fibre core can be reduced to around 7.9Kg. ...   and in addition to the weight reduction, the Carbon Core also adds to the stability and longevity of the harp.  By creating an instrument which is both lighter and stiffer, the overall sound quality of the harp is also enhanced.
